Purchases made on this portal are safe and guaranteed and can be made in the following ways:

In case of payment by advance bank transfer, the order will be managed only after receiving the confirmation of the credit from the bank.
Payment must be made within 3 days from the order date. Beyond this deadline, the order will be automatically canceled. The reason for the bank transfer must necessarily include the order number, order date and customer’s name and surname.

In cases of purchase of goods with credit card payment methods, (at the same time as the conclusion of the order transaction), the reference banking institution will authorize the debit of the amount relating to the purchase made. In case of cancellation of the order both by the customer and in the case of non-acceptance of the contract by LA COSTARICA, LA COSTARICA will request the cancellation of the transaction and the cancellation of the amount committed. The release times depend exclusively on the banking system. LA COSTARICA reserves the right to request additional information from the customer or to send copies of documents proving ownership of the card used. If the customer does not provide such information and / or copies LA COSTARICA reserves the right not to accept the conclusion of the contract. Confirm order receipt and availability

Following receipt of the order, the Company will verify the availability of the goods to the extent and quality requested by the Customer and only afterwards will communicate the confirmation and shipment to the email address provided. In the event that the Company is unable to fulfill the Customer’s order, it will promptly notify the same to the email address provided, with the express exclusion of any right to compensation and / or indemnity as well as any contractual and extra liability -contractual.

Cost of Transportation

The cost of transport will be calculated by the system based on the weight of the items ordered and the country of destination.

Delivery time

The delivery times of the goods ordered vary in consideration of the order placed by the customer (e.g. if the goods are available from the manufacturer) and the delivery methods chosen by the same. The times indicated for the delivery terms are purely indicative and are in no way binding for the LA COSTARICA company.
Here is the calculation that we apply:
Availability + Shipping Times = Total Delivery Time
LA COSTARICA uses the couriers / carriers that offer the best service / cost ratio for the destination concerned: this allows us to offer customers the best combination of shipping service and the cost of the same.

Goods receipt

Upon delivery of the goods, the customer is required to check: – that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the transport document – that the packaging is intact and not altered even in the closing tapes In the event of tampering and / or breakages, the customer must immediately contest the shipment and / or delivery by affixing the writing “RESERVE OF CONTROL OF GOODS FOR …..” (indicate the reason) on the delivery document received by the courier or other operator. The customer must subsequently report any damage within 2 months of receipt of the goods (if Consumer) or otherwise 8 days (according to the procedures provided by the operator who made the shipment). If the shipment of the order is returned to LA COSTARICA by the courier / carrier for the wrong address provided by the customer, or for finished storage in the courier / carrier’s warehouses, or for any other reason attributable to the negligence of the customer, a new shipment will be possible upon advance payment of the same through a link that will be provided to the customer at the time, or alternatively by bank transfer or paypal. In no case will it be possible to make deliveries by appointment, at set times or days.

Checking the status of shipments

You can follow the status of any shipment online thanks to the tracking code that the system sends to the customer’s email once the shipment has started, and which contains information on the carrier used, the shipping code and instructions on how to track your shipment.


The right of withdrawal is governed by the law and by the customer-consumer (i.e. a natural person who purchases the goods for purposes not related to his professional activity, or not verified by the indication in the order form a VAT reference) the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason. To send this right, the customer must send a communication to La Costarica by registered letter within 14 working days of a data far from the date of delivery of the goods.

Withdrawal procedure

The right of withdrawal is however subject to the following conditions:
The purchased good must be intact and returned in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment: manuals, cables, etc.);
The shipment, until the certificate of receipt in our warehouse, is under the complete responsibility of the customer;
LA COSTARICA is not liable in any way for damage or theft / loss of goods returned by uninsured shipments.

Return of goods

The product must be returned to LA COSTARICA within 14 days together with the authorization form received.
Without prejudice to any restoration costs for damages ascertained to the original packaging, LA COSTARICA will reimburse the customer the full amount already paid for the product, within 14 days from the return of the goods, through the procedure for the reversal of the amount charged on the Credit or by bank transfer.In the latter case, the customer will promptly provide the bank details on which to obtain the refund (customer’s IBAN code).

When the right of withdrawal lapses

The right of withdrawal is lost for lack of the essential integrity of the property (packaging and / or its contents), in cases where LA COSTARICA ascertains:
– Even partial use of the goods and any consumables
– The lack of the external packaging and / or the original internal packaging;
– The absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, cables, manuals, parts, …);
– Damage to the product for reasons other than its transport

Only Consumers (in the above meaning) can exercise the right of withdrawal.

Applicable law

The conditions of sale are governed by Italian law and, in particular, by the legislative decree 6 September 2005, n.206 (so-called Consumer Code), with specific reference to the legislation on distance contracts and the legislative decree 9 April 2003 , n.70 concerning some legal aspects of electronic commerce. Jurisdiction for the resolution of any dispute is that provided by the Italian legislation in force at the time of the conclusion of the contract.
